Given the many benefits of martial arts training, karate is a very affordable sport for both adults and children. For example, our fees for a full season of classes (three months) for kids starts at just $80.
Compared to the thousands of dollars required to participate sports such as hockey, karate at East Coast Wado is a very inexpensive way to both stay in peak physical fitness and learn extremely valuable self-defence skills.

12 Week Session Fees
Class Level
Little Dragons (Beginners ages 4 - 6)/Red Belts (Beginners 7+)
1 class (1 hour)
$80 per session
Beginners & Kyu belts (Yellow, Orange, Green, Blue, Purple, Brown) and those who train twice a week
2 classes (1 hour each)
$140 per session
Adults (All belt colours)
2 classes (1.5 hours each)
$155 per session
As a non-profit club, we strive to make our fees very competitive compared to other karate clubs in Nova Scotia and offer numerous incentives for our members, including:
- Three free trial classes for new members - with no commitment to continue if it isn't right for you
- Option to pay fees monthly or for each session
- 25% discount for second family member of equal or lesser value
- 50% discount for third or more family member of equal or lesser value
