Gradings and Kyu Syllabus

All gradings take place after both student and instructor feel the student is ready.
Please remember, minimum times are just that, minimum. Most students will require more time to excel in their training.  Concentrate on your training rather than the time it takes.

Children Ranks

• ​8th Kyu – Yellow Belt Black Stripe
• 8th Kyu – Yellow Belt
• 7th Kyu - Orange Belt Black Stripe
• 7th Kyu – Orange Belt
• 6th Kyu – Green Belt Black Stripe
• 6th Kyu – Green Belt

From 5th Kyu to 1st Kyu there are no half (stripe) belts.

Adult Ranks

• 8th Kyu – Yellow Belt8th Kyu Yellow Belt
• 7th Kyu – Orange Belt
• 6th Kyu – Green Belt
• 5th Kyu – Blue Belt
• 4th Kyu – Purple Belt
• 3rd Kyu – Brown Belt I
• 2nd Kyu – Brown Belt II
• 1st Kyu – Brown Belt III
